Coach Bill Bilowus recorded 329 wins over eighteen seasons at Lackawanna HS. His teams won 86% of the games they played, which is the best wining percentage of any western New York coach. He led his teams to seventeen consecutive league titles to go along with eight Section VI championships. His 1975-76 and 1976-77 teams were undefeated. Three of his teams were ranked # 1 in New York State. He is a member of the Western New York Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.
