Coach Fred Agnostakis led his teams to 553 wins, which is fourth all time among NYSAIS coaches in New York State history. He coached for 33 years, 29 at Loyola School and 4 at Friends Seminary. At Loyola his teams won seven regular season championships and seven league tournament titles. He led them to the NYSAIS State Finals three times. He epitomized the ethos of coaching, serving as a role model and mentor to so many young coaches, and using sports as a way to teach life lessons and emphasize the importance of actively and generously serving the community.
