Coach Donohue won a record 250 games in less than 300 games during his coaching tenure at two New York City Schools, Tolentine and Power Memorial. Coach Donohue then coached at Holy Cross College, and both the Canadian Men’s and Women’s National Basketball teams. He is a member of the Canadian Olympic Association, and of the City of Ottawa, Canada Basketball, Ontario Basketball, Catholic High Schools, New York City Coaches and New York City Basketball Halls of Fame.
