Sidney High School, Section 4

 

Coach Jack Jones has a 79% winning percentage. He led Sidney HS to nine league and five Section IV titles. Additionally under his leadership Sidney won three Regional and one State championship. His teams recorded thirty-four straight wins and forty-six straight league wins. Remarkably, his squads won 112 of the last 116 games he coached! He was named the Small School Coach of the Year by the NYS Sportswriters Association. He is a member of the Section IV Hall of Fame.
