Contributor as a Referee

 

John Cahill started his officiating career in the early 1970's as a member of IAABO Board #36 in Section II at the urging of his father, Jack, who is also a member of the Hall of Fame. He has officiated at the college Division I level since 1981 and has officiated in the following conferences: Big East, ACC, SEC, A-­‐10, MAAC, Ivy, Patriot and America East. In 2007, John received the prestigious Naismith Award, given to the top collegiate official. John has also officiated in ten Final Fours, including six national championship games.
