In his 45th year of chronicling scholastic sports, Moriello maintains the most authoritative lists of records across the state. He co-founded the New York State Sportswriters Association and initiated the NYSSWA move to online. H is a regular blogger and strong advocate for scholastic sports. He has worked as a newspaper reporter and editor and currently works and consults for national sports outlets.
