Carneseca led St. Johns to a 526-200 record, including eighteen 20-win seasons. "Louie" never failed to take St. Johns to a post-season tournament in his 24 years as Head Coach, including 18 NCAA trips and 6 NIT appearances. His commitment and passion to coaching was a model to all.
