Chittenango High School, Section 3

 

Phil Gordon coached for thirty-six years at Chittenango HS and two years at Canastota HS. He guided his teams to 411 wins. He is a six-time Coach of the Year honoree and his teams received eleven Tri-Valley and two Edward Kearney Section III Sportsmanship Awards. His many recognition and service awards include Who’s Who of American High School Basketball Coaches and the John Arcaro Memorial Coaches Award presented by the Blind Men and Criers Marching and Chowder Society. He is a member of both the Golden Valley Sports Camp and Section III Halls of Fame.
