In 42 years as a head basketball coach, mostly at Broome C.C. he had over 900 wins. He

is winningest basketball coach in the U. S. on all levels. His teams won 20 or more games 26 times. He is a member of both the NJCAA Basketball Hall of Fame and the National Athletic Directors Hall of Fame.
